An online event “CANVAS HANAMI”

The Royal Park Canvas – Ginza 8 will be hosting “CANVAS HANAMI” An online cherry blossom viewing event for our Japanese and International followers from March 15th (Monday) 2021 to April 15th (Thursday) 2021.

This event encourages online HANAMI by participants posting their cherry blossom photos taken in Japan or overseas on Instagram.  Please post your favorite cherry blossom photos from nearby parks or famous cherry blossom viewing spots on your Instagram. We will be printing out your photos and displaying them in our hotel.

To participate in this event, please tag one or more friends in your photos and follow our official canvasginza8 Instagram account.  Three lucky followers will receive a box of scent sticks, CANVAS original merchandise with the same scent as the fragrance used in our hotel, and also a traveler’s baggage tag that can be personalized with up to 15 alphabet letters.  Only entries from within Japan will be eligible for prizes.

Those participants from overseas who post a photos with the name of current country of residence will also receive a cherry blossom greeting card. Eligible participants will be contacted by the hotel via Instagram direct message.

Furthermore, guests who make reservations at our hotel and participate in the event will be entered to win CANVAS original merchandise and many other prizes. We hope that the cherry blossoms will fully bloom for your photos and that you discover new cherry blossom spots. We look forward to receiving many posts from around the world.

【Event Period】
March 15th (Monday) 2021 ～ April 15th (Thursday)

【How to participate in the event】
・Post a cherry blossom photo with the name of the country, prefecture, or other location where the photo was taken.
・Post a cherry blossom photo with #canvasginza8 #canvashanami
・Tag your one or more friends with your photo
・Follow the official hotel Instagram（@canvasginza8）

※If we find that the content of your post is offensive to public order and morals, we may delete your post.
※The photos you post will be printed and displayed in the hotel.

【Gifts for event participants】
<1> Three lucky followers will receive a scent stick (CANVAS original merchandise) with the same scent as the fragrance used in the hotel, and a traveler’s baggage tag (can be personalized with up to 15 alphabet letters). Only entries from within Japan will be eligible for these prizes.
※Winners will be contacted via Instagram direct message. If we do not hear from you for 3 days after the message is sent, or if your reply is incomplete, we will cancel your prize.
※Prizes must be delivered to a recipients who reside in Japan.

<2> International participates who post a photos with the name of current country of residence will receive a cherry blossom greeting card. Eligible participants will be contacted by the hotel via Instagram direct message.
※Greeting cards will not be sent to countries that do not accept mail from Japan due to COVID-19 will not be eligible.

<3> Guests who stay at the hotel during the event period and participate in the event will be entered into a drawing to win CANVAS original merchandise and other prizes.
※Please present the screen showing your participation in the event to our staff when checking in.

【Event Application Rules】
“CANVAS HANAMI” (hereinafter referred to as “this project”) is a project that uses the web content of Space Design Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), and we will send you a present by selection from among those who follow the official hotel Instagram account and posts with the designated hashtags. 

Please read the following terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) before applying for this project.  By submitting your entry with the designated hashtags, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions, and these terms and conditions will apply to all parties. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice, so please check this page for the latest information each time you submit an entry.

【Application Notes】
・You must have an Instagram account and agree to all the terms and conditions of the application.
・If you have set your account to private, post is not eligible for the selection.
・Photos related to cherry blossoms taken by the applicant are eligible.
・Photos that infringe on the copyrights of others, offend public order and morals, or infringe on the privacy of others will not be accepted.
・By posting with the designated hashtags, you are deemed to have agreed to portrait rights, copyrights, and all other related rights (hereafter referred to as portrait rights).
・We will not be held responsible for any infringement of portrait rights or other rights of third parties caused by objects that can be seen in the photos. In the unlikely event that a dispute arises with a third party, the entrant will be held responsible.
・If you do not follow the official Instagram account of The Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8, or if your post is not made between Monday, March 15, 2021 (0:00) and Thursday, April 15, 2021 (23:59), you will not be eligible for any prizes.
・Please note that you may not be able to apply depending on the status of your smartphone.
・Internet communication and connection fees are the responsibility of the customer.

The following acts are prohibited in this project. If any of the following applies, your entry will be invalid.
●Any action that includes personally identifiable information in the submitted work.
●Actions that damage the reputation or social credibility of individuals, companies, or organizations.
●Actions that infringe on the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of individuals, companies, or organizations.
●Any action that constitutes slander, threats, or harassment of individuals, companies, or organizations
●Impersonation by using the name of an individual, company, organization, or other company or other organization.
●Providing information, advertising, or solicitation for commercial purposes
●Acts that place an excessive burden on the server of this project.
●Acts that violate laws and regulations, and acts that aid, solicit, coerce, or promote violations.
●Acts that are offensive to public order and morals and common sense.
●Violation of Instagram’s terms of service or laws.
●Acts that interfere with the proper operation of this project.
●Other acts that the Company deems inappropriate.

【Notes on winning】
After the application deadline, we will select the winners and contact you via Instagram DM.
・Please make sure to follow the official account of The Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 (@canvasginza8) on Instagram to use the Instagram direct message function for notifications.
・After the notification, you will be required to provide us your contact information, home address, and other necessary information by the specified deadline using the specified method.  If you do not contact us within 3 days, or if your reply is incomplete, we will cancel your entry.
・The personal information you provide will be used only for sending out the prizes. For other information on how we handle personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
・Prizes do not include any items other than those listed. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
