Gold September Global Childhood Cancer Awareness Campaign
Every September, buildings, historical sites, bridges, and natural assets symbolizing each region of a country are lit up in gold, the Event color for childhood cancer, to raise awareness of the importance of childhood cancer treatment and to “shine a light” on the medical care and research needed for children. This global campaign began in the United States in 2015, and has been implemented in Japan since 2021 by the Japan Childhood Cancer Group (JCCG). Led by [organization name], the project is planned to include illuminations and related events at various locations across Japan, including Tokyo Skytree, by 2025.

This initiative aims to contribute to SDG Goal 3, “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all,” through the sale of lemonade and the donation of the proceeds.
